The PPM 1000M is a comprehensive paper permeability unit capable of measuring the entire portfolio of tobacco papers across the whole measurement range 0.1 – 40,000 CORESTA units. Having the capability to measure in both vacuum and pressure, customers will be able to conform to new standards whilst being able to compare with historical data.
Uniquely the PPM 1000M will enable the user to measure the complete range of tobacco papers, including LIP papers, on one unit thus saving investment in instrumentation, people and time.

Designed to replace the PPM 100, the PPM 1000M has a small footprint making it suitable for laboratory use. Operation is kept simple with easy to load paper clamps, a touch screen interface and intuitive software that captures and displays the results.
The new PPM 1000M is designed not only to meet all current measurement requirements but also comply with proposed revisions under the new CORESTA taskforce on permeability.
A new conversion kit assembly is available for those customers who wish to add an auto paper feeder.
