This system offers consistency of sampling and free of external influences as no operator intervention is required during the process – allowing more time to focus on core tasks.
Located behind the catcher band area at the exit of a cigarette tipper, the patented automatic sampling probe transports the cigarette or filter horizontally. Throughout this process the sample is not is in contact with any pressurised air, thus preventing any weight losses due to tobacco end fallout or moisture loss. The probe can sample to various regimes, priority sampling by batch size and time – all of which are user programmable via the touch screen interface.
