C² Hopper Designed for use either in the laboratory or on the production floor the C² with hopper provides the capability to manually load a maximum of 100 samples. The samples are then fed into the C² unit with minimum agitation thus reducing the risk of tobacco fallout. The product is then quickly measured and characterised with information being fed back to the operator at the maker via a touch screen user (GUI) interface.

The Hopper works with both cigarettes and filters and has a quick-release system enabling easy maintenance and cleaning.
The hopper ‘stand-alone’ configuration will support batches by showing results from up to 6 makers. Additionally, the Hopper can also be combined with the auto sampling system offering flexibility of sampling processes on one measurement platform.
The combined hopper/auto sampling unit is of particular benefit when customers wish to perform priority sampling on a particular measurement during machine start up.
