C² Multi Hopper meets the needs of the laboratory by giving users the capability to sample multiple brands and batch sizes to different measurement protocols.
The multi-hopper has 24 buckets, each with a capacity of 25 cigarettes or filters. The unit sequentially loads product into the C² for measurement providing a completely automated process. The C² with multi-hopper is designed to operate for up to 4 hours, measuring all buckets without the need for operator intervention.

The unit can sample cigarettes or filters under the following modes:
- Priority mode – The C² will sample the buckets as defined by the user.
- Interrupt mode – The sampling process can be temporarily halted to allow for urgent measuring of a product batch.Following completion of this batch measurement, the multi-hopper will continue its assigned task.
- Intelligent mode – The C² will automatically sample the buckets in an order that ensures measurement of all 24 buckets is completed in the fastest time possible
As with the C² hopper unit, the C² multi-hopper is controlled via the touch screen user interface.
