The basic system provides a frame to which can be added up to five measurement modules as required by the customer. The system takes seconds to configure and is equipped with a new powerful user-interface that provides key information to the user, graphical representation of process capability and stores the data in a network accessible ODBC compliant database. The instrument can be fitted with internal standards to ensure stability and accuracy throughout the use cycle.

The Quantum Neo utilizes the industry recognized and accepted measurement technology of the QTM “smart shelf” brought up to date with a “SmartBus” that allows each measurement module its own intelligence, control and measurement power. The host computer is reserved for the important task of gathering shelf data over the “SmartBus” and communicating with the user.

The system provides support for hopper, auto-hopper and cigarette auto-sampling to give a wide-range of sampling options fitted to local use practices. The software and hardware provides multiple-maker support to deliver a cost effective solution to Quality Assurance on the factory floor.

The Quantum Neo contains an export datamodule that enables the customer to retrieve the data as a CSV text file that can be configured to meet requirements such as sequence of data, layout, format and frequency of export.
