The new and improved CR20i is a semi-automatic 20 port rotary smoking machine designed to comply with the requirements of ISO3308.
For most routine applications the smoke is trapped using a standard 92mm CFH. However it is also possible to smoke using a wide range of alternative trapping systems such as individual 44mm CFH, impinger bottles or electrostatic trap.

The intuitive touch screen PC based user-interface provides a wide range of parameter options with which to customize the smoking operations. The PC supports alternative user languages and also provides database storage and connectivity for remote data access.
The automated systems incorporated into the design ensure reliable and repeatable lighting, puffing and termination. The smoke extraction system is designed to mimic the airflow pattern found in the popular SM450 range of linear smoking machines.
The capture of low yield smoke components such as metals is supported through the selection of appropriate construction material and by the provision of a quickly removable port carousel system which allows regular cleaning for the avoidance of cross contamination between runs.
