A camera system measures the progress of the coal as it burns allowing not only for time between burn points to be known but also for the burn profile to be captured. The user can set up the start and end points of the burn from the user-friendly Graphical User Interface and data from all rods are stored in the ODBC compliant database. Multiple regimes can be stored and data for each run can be added in terms of the batch ID, description, user ID, ambient temperature, ambient humidity, profile type, rod weight, burn distance and start burn profile distance from rod end.
Connection to external systems such as a LIMS is possible through the system PC and with the addition of third party software (not supplied).
